Canal and River Cruises Ltd operate the passenger narrowboat Lady A in London’s Little Venice on the Regent's Canal. When you book Lady A you are booking the entire boat, with skipper (usually me, Mike), for your special private celebration so you will be the only people onboard apart from the crew. Great for family celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries and of course visitors to London. You can bring snacks and drinks to enjoy onboard and the captain can act as your guide to the unique world of England’s historic canals.
Lady A is a skippered passenger boat licensed with the Canal and River Trust, and fully insured. All our cruises are operated by a qualified skipper so you can just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Starting in Little Venice we usually follow the Regents Canal through Maida Vale, Maida Hill Tunnel, Regents Park, London Zoo and Camden where we turn around for the trip back to Little Venice.

About Lady A
Lady A is a modern narrowboat specially built in traditional style for public hire, 45 feet long and 7 feet wide. Since 2007 Lady A has been a regular sight on the London Canals in Little Venice. Seating is partly open air on our extended foredeck. Inside we have heating, more seating and a toilet.
The main table area seats three people on each side of the table plus two at the table end, making a comfortable venue for your group of eight. You may bring two extra guests if you don’t mind using the seating area in the cabin too.
Our most popular cruise from Little Venice to Camden and back
We are based in London’s Little Venice (Maida Vale/Paddington area) and normally we take a two hour cruise along the Regent's Canal from Little Venice to Camden and back. We pass lots of colourful narrowboats in Maida Vale, take you through the 272 yards of Maida Hill tunnel where we emerge into Lisson Grove. Passing more boats we then enter Regent's Park famous for the canalside villas, “Blow-up Bridge” (pictured) and London Zoo where we may see a glimpse of the fabulous African Hunting Dogs, and the latest Zoo attraction Monkey Valley then passing the iconic floating Chinese restaurant which marks the end of Regent's Park we take the sharp turning towards Camden where we turn around outside the world famous Camden Lock Market for the second hour of the cruise back to Little Venice again.
