Canalway Cavalcade in Little Venice – the boat festival marks the start of the summer season here in Little Venue and is held over the May Bank Holiday Weekend. As Little Venice is normally a quiet area, this is your one chance to see it in full swing and at the time of writing we still have some availability for cruises on Lady A, but you’ll need to book in advance. We operate throughout the festival and it gives our customers a great view as we cruise around through all the boats. Note that although on street parking in the local area is free of charge at weekends the immediate areas of Warwick Crescent and Blomfield Road will have suspended parking. Its still easy to park in the area around Warwick Avenue though.
Canalway Cavalcade in Little Venice is a distinctive waterway festival that has been taking place at Little Venice since 1983. Organised by Inland Waterways Association with a team of volunteers, there will be an array of boats, trade show stalls and boater gatherings at this festival for water lovers. As well as the boating activities, there will also be Morris dancing, competitions, food, family-friendly activities and a real ale bar, making it an enjoyable day out for families. Plus, with the location being quaint Little Venice, this creates the perfect opportunity for a gentle stroll and an enjoyable view alongside your lunch and ale.
