About Canal and River Cruises Ltd
Canal and River Cruises Ltd was formed by Mike in 2011, although our boat Lady A has been trading in London since 2007.
We specialise in exclusive private cruises along the Regent's Canal and our operating base is London’s Little Venice, the name given to the attractive waterside community in Maida Vale.
About Lady A
Lady A is a modern narrowboat specially built in 2004 in traditional style by Devizes Marina on the Kennet and Avon Canal for public hire, 45 feet long and 7 feet wide and since 2007 Lady A has been a regular sight on the London Canals.
She is constructed from steel and well ballasted so the boat is very steady in the water giving a most comfortable ride for even the most nervous passengers! There are no waves or tide on the canals and so no need to take your sea sickness tablets!
Seating is mostly in our foredeck area in the open air, with a solid roof above and waterproof side curtains in case of rain.
Our maximum capacity is 8/10 persons. Three seats each side of the table and two at the end makes eight sitting places, and you may bring two more guests who may have to sit slightly separately in the cabin.
